While I don't remember the name or most of the words, I do remember what the lullaby was about. It was about a baby smiling in its sleep, and the mother's concern about the father's safety at sea. It hinges on a traditional belief that if a baby smiled in its sleep, it was because the angels were watching it. So the mother says the angels should go look after the baby's father, because the baby is safe with her. If I remember correctly, the father actually comes home at the end. I heard it at an irish music concert in germany 15 years or more ago.
