snow is falling on my garden... snow is dancing past my window never making a sound

I have liked this song since I was a little kid.. probably 5 or 6 and I have never been able to figure out the rest of the words... It was probably 30 - 35 years ago in music class. Can anyone help?

Thanks

Snow is falling on my garden NEW
by: Penny

I learned this in grade one. I am singing this to a dear friend over the phone as she is too weak now to chat. She is 94. I leave her poems and songs to listen to. Snow is falling on my garden is so special to me. It is Valentine snow. Nice to share the memories

Snow is Falling on My Garden NEW
by: Anonymous

I learned this in school in the 50's, Nova Scotia. Every now and then I think of it.

Snow is falling on my garden, whirling twirling gently down
Snow is falling on the branches, of the trees tall and brown.

But the flowers are not forgotten, Spring will bring them back to life
For Jack Frost in dreams has traced them, on my window last night.

Snow is falling on my garden
by: Allan Knight

I think I learned this in elementary school in Ontario in the early to mid 1940s. I remember that after the word garden, it went "whirling twirling lightly down." But the rest of it is not coming back to me.’

Memories are Made of This NEW
by: Anonymous

It's amazing how many have the same memories with this song. My twin sister and I would sing it wanting to recall our childhood days. We learned these words back in the ''40s and they still keep ringing in my head. My dear sister is now in Heaven and I'm singing it alone but with a heart full of beautiful memories of Rosie and Myself.

Snow is Falling On My Garden
by: Annette Dunphy

Lyrics I recall from this lullaby.

Snow is falling on my garden
Whirling, dancing lightly down.
Snow is sparkling on the branches
Of the trees tall and brown.

But the flowers are not forgotten
Spring will bring them all to light.
For the frost in dreams has traced them
On my window last night.

Note: Up until about 2000, my Twin Sister and I sang this lullaby in harmony by phone. Whoever had the first phone call of the winter would call the other and would just start singing. Such a lovely memory.

A memory song
by: Bertille Dunphy

I remember sitting in class at my elementary school, being in grades one and two and singing this song daily as we watched snow flakes out the school window. My twin sister and I learned to harmonize it and sang it as we would walk along on our way home or just plain walking. It became a constant in our home and our Mom, who died in a car accident in July of 1970 would join in with us. My whole family -- nine in all would sing that song many times over the years. I still do and the memories it brings back are wonderful.

The Snow
by: Anonymous

My mother sang this to me as a bedtime lullaby. She was a 3rd grade teacher and I found it in an old song book titled Our Music in Story and Song by Robert Foresman copyright 1935:
Snow is falling on my garden, whirling, dancing lightly down; Snow is sparkling on the branches of the trees tall and brown.
But the flowers are not forgotten, Spring will bring them all to light; for the frost in dream has traced them on my window last night.
She would sing and recite poetry to us in the dark as we fell asleep. I have many wonderful memories of her. She passed away at 92 yrs in 2007
