The name of the song is called Stardust Lullaby, sung by Betsy Norman. It was on Cricket Records back in 1953. I still have the record and it is one of my favorites. I think it's either a 78 or a 45 vinyl record.

Goodness gracious, found it at last... NEW by: Iskandar Taib
Thank you! I remember listening to this when I was four. It was, IIRC, on the B side of one of those Show n' Tell records. Different performer, but definitely the same song.

Found it! by: Amy
It took me five hours of nonstop hunting through ebay posts and youtubes, but I found it! It's been driving me nuts, too. Here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3hT9yqWbhIE
And in case the link doesn't work anymore, it's Betsy Norman, "Stardust Lullaby." Orchestra conducted by Todd Fuller. Cricket Records 1953. Record # 7310C B.

Here is what I remember: by: Sally
Sleep oh my darlin' safely in your bed. Halo of stardust twinkling overhead. Sleep mother's angel. Now the day is done. Walk with the sandman till the morning comes. Lullu lullu baby. Close each little eye. Drift off into dreamland on a butterfly. Lullu Lullu sweetheart. May your dreams be blessed. May the Lord gaze fondly on you while you rest.
