my mom used to sing a song about a sandman sprinkling star dust in your eyes, but i don't remember the other words. I rememeber the picture that was on the top of the song. the sandman was like a big cloud or wind and he had a hat on and was blowing. she sang it in the 40's to my sisters and I. none of the sandman songs i've heard are it.
