Rock my baby softly sing

This was a lullaby passed down from my mother.
Rock my baby, softly sing.
Make her/him think she's/he's in a swing.
Babies east and babies west but my little "insert name" is the best.

I sang it to my children and am singing it to my grandchildren but want to make them a booklet or recording with the history of the lullaby if anyone knows and the words. Thanks for any help.
