Our two adult daughters are disabled and make frequent trips to the ER. This song was one of their favorites as littlies, and I am recording it (along with other songs) for them to listen to when they are stressed and in pain. There's nothing like Mom's voice to soothe you, even if you're not so little anymore.

I got this as a shower gift when my daughter was born in 1992. Now I’m singing it to my grandaughter. It is the only song that calms her down! Who would have thought this would be passed on to the next generation! Thanks for such a timeless song!

I used to sing that song to my daughter, she was born November 1994. It was from a set of tapes I received as a baby shower present. There were 4 cassette tapes in a wooden rocking horse holder.
