My mother and I sang this together at a village hall concert in England some sixty five years ago. Amazingly enough I can still remember the words and music and the fact that at the age of ten I had difficulty reaching the high notes...

Hello I think the song is called Little Child and I believe it's a French Lullaby. I was watching this movie called the Naked Kiss with Constance Towers and heard it and fell in love with it. Here are the lyrics:
