My two older sons are now going to college in Texas. I woke up missing them and counting my days until Thanksgiving and reminiscing about the times I used to sing this song to them as babies. I can feel them in my arms. This is such a beautiful song.

It's on the track of a lullabye cd by Nicolette Larson...Lay down my sweet baby, Lay down and take your rest. Won't you lay your head upon your mama's breast. OH I love you,but God loves you the best, and I bid you good night, good night, good night. I used that cd for nap time at the preschool I worked at and played it at home for my daughter who is 18 now and have passed it down to my grandson.
