Hi. I´ve been searching for this song for many years. Heard it one time only, about 1950 on a summer camp, performed by to boys. I only remembered (incorrect) two lines, but I think I remember to tune well.

I have a scratchy tape of this song if anyone is still looking for it! Not sure who sings it, someone told me it could be Rose Maddox. It was popular in Ceylon (Now Sri Lanka) back when I was a tiny lad in the mid fifties.

That's all i remember.. i sang it for recitation in school, my aunt who taught me this passed away last year and ever since i am trying to get hold of the lyrics.
