I don't know if the lyrics are all right or complete. It took a while just to get this. I've always been a dreamer so this song was played again and again when I was little.

It was a white cassette with a blue lable and I think had a picture of a baby mickey sleeping on it. The search for disney babies lullaby music came up with a few things. One was promising. (Disney babies lullaby:favorite sleepytime songs for baby and you). It was from the 90s and that would be the right time. But it had too many songs and ones I don't remember ever hearing! Looking at the lyrics didnt find it either. I remember the tape did have " all the pretty little horses" and maybe "hush little baby".

I'm giving up hope on finding it. :(

Cole has the exact lyrics I remember. I'm so glad I found these posts. We had this song on a story book cassette of The Gingerbread Man in the 80s. I used to sing this to my son who will be 30 this year. Fond memories.

The song was on a story tape of the story of The Emperor's New Clothes that I used to have. It was also the shortened version....I have always tried to keep the lyrics memorized because I loved it when I was young and I could never find it anywhere. I am so glad I am not the only one who remembers that...

I'm looking for a tape around the same time frame with this song, and "all the pretty little horses" The song I am hoping to locate is 'Matthew Mark Luke and John bless the bed that I lie on'. My tape was a female artist, beautiful voice. Wish I could find it, would love some help.

The lyrics the little girl sings on the tape are different from the official lyrics of the song. I remember listening to this song right before hearing the story of the ugly duckling.

I too have loved this song since i was a little girl. It played at the start of a cassette recording of "The Emperor's New Clothes" which I have kept throughout the years just for this song. If I ever manage to transfer it online, I will post a link.
