The Hush Little Baby lullaby book by Sylvia Long is currently the Lullaby-Link favorite. Ms. Long has composed beautiful new lyrics to replace the traditional version. In the traditional song, Daddy buys a series of gifts in a failed attempt to quiet his child. In Long’s version Mamma uses the wonders of nature to quiet her child. It is enchantingly illustrated with numerous opportunities to use baby signs together.
