I think this lullaby used to be on a tape story I had of the care bears. I used to love going to sleep to this song as a child and would love to hear it again.

This song was sung to me every night as a child and it is so special to me. Even when I was older, if I'd had a bad day and couldn't sleep, I'd go over the lyrics in my head to calm myself. I've never forgotten the words and now I sing it to my own daughter's.

Just like many of you, I've been singing this song to my little one since she was a preemie. She's almost 4 now and of course knows all the words, so a few months ago I was searching for the audio online because I wanted to be able to play the original for her. Didn't find it anywhere, but did find this thread of others looking for it. What I did find, though, was my original tape!!! I put it in my old CD player with tape deck and reminisced back to my childhood days. :-) My tape won't rewind on its own anymore, so I carefully rewound it by hand and listened to it over and over. I made a recording of it with my phone so that I could play it for my daughter and preserve these precious memories. Would definitely purchase a CD if they ever re-released it!!

This song is connected with fond memories for me, too. Now I sing it to my daughter each night. It is from the Care Bears Bedtime Story book written by Ellen Schwartz. The song was written by Bonnie Sanders and Ellen Schwartz.
