I found a compilation CD at at thrift store and it has this song on it. I have been singing it to my baby to put him to sleep and I just wanted to know it's origin, and I am finding nothing on Google.

I love this song. I sang it to both my boys when they were young. The other night my 9 year old was having trouble falling asleep and wanted me to sing to him, this was the song I chose. A few minutes in, he was fast asleep "dreaming 'neath the trees". Beautiful song. Thank you.

This song was my baby favorite 7 years ago. This was the only song that will soothe him. I used to play it in the car on repeat so he would stop crying. I have been looking for it for years because I lost the cd. I just played it for him and he fell sleep... thank you for posting the link, it’s a very special song for my family.

I’ve been looking for this song for 10+ years. I used to sing it to my now 15yo son and it was one of the first songs he started singing on his own. It’s been a favorite bedtime song for my younger two boys also, but I could only sing a few lines from memory. I bought the album, they are going to be so happy to hear the real song.

I have been looking for the CD "Dreamtime" by Baby Notes for the song Good Night Sleep Tight forever for my kids who are now 11 and 13. Every once in a while, they want me to sing the song but I only recall only a few lines. I tried looking it for it on ebay and Amazon but have little luck. Does anyone have any ideas where I can get a copy of that music. I tried Youtube but that didn't work either.

I was looking up the lyrics because the cd I have this song on was in the car. It's named "Little Sleepyhead" on the cd "Hush Little Baby".
There are so many random songs on it and I don't even know where I got the cd but I've had it for years.
I had it in the car when my son was an infant and it became a son that always puts him to sleep. I need to get it on my phone so I can play it when I play music for him inside.
The only cd player we have is on the computer in the office.

I wrote and performed this song on an album called Dreamtime which was one of a series called "Baby Notes". Actually, I half forgot about this song and just stumbled on it today and it kind of took me by surprise. I googled the song title and saw your post. At the time I was writing and producing so many songs that it wasn't difficult to forget them...

The company (Direct Source) that I did this work for went bust a few years back so it's hard to still find stuff.

Anyway, I'd be very happy to send you the mp3 of it if you can send me an address.

I have been looking for this song too! I heard it on a CD that we had in the car, but I have miss placed it. I wish that I knew how to find it again, as I like to sing it to my girls at night.
