Go to sleep, slumber deep.

When I was little 40 years ago, I use to listen to a record of lullabies and I loved it. I would love to hear this song again. My mom use to sing it to me when I was upset and I sang it to her when she was dying. It went.....

go to sleep, slumber deep. Close your eyes and let the feeling of love surround you.

I can't remember the rest. If anyone knows this song I would love to have it again.

I also remember this song from childhood. I did a little research and found that Cubby O'Brien and Karen Pendleton from the Mickey Mouse club sang it. It was also from Babes in Toyland. My parents had this on a 45. We also had it on an Disney album called Songs for Bedtime. I have not been able to find it for sale anywhere though.

Thank you for sharing the wonderful memories this song evoked in you. I love that it is a song from your childhood, one that your mother sang to you as a child and that you were able to use to soothe her at death. That is so beautiful.
