C'etait un p'tit oiseau qui a monte trop Haut.
La branch a casse p'tit oiseau a tombe.
Ah le pauvre pt'it oiseau.

My grandfather sang it to me when I was young. I only remember the above words but would love to know the name, other words, it's origin and basically any information at all.
