Beautiful trees as they sway to and fro,

Beautiful trees as they sway to and fro, hushing my darling to rest. What are the songs that they murmur so low, to the younglings alone in their nest. Is it the song of the wild buffalo, song of papooses, would I might know.

Important to me as my mum sang it to me. Does anyone know where I can find the rest of the words and maybe a recording?
